Another day closer to the start of the season. Another day of glorious training. Ah wait! Maybe not. First field work. Thank you to all who showed up and got their hands dirty in preparation for Opening day. Many hands made light work of the base cutouts, mound and home plate area. The trailer curtains proved very effective in preventing weeds and minimised the amount of work needed to tidy up the rest.
Back to the 7 ball drill. Using 7 balls across the face of home plate each batter, whilst batting, needs to pick the ball the pitch flew past.
